Thailand is a country full of wonder and beauty. During our travels, we had the opportunity to visit the breathtaking Krabi and Phi Phi Islands. These islands are known for their stunning beaches, clear waters, and unique landscapes. In this blog post, we will share our unforgettable boat tour experience and what to expect when visiting Krabi and Phi Phi Islands.
Phi Phi Islands
We started our boat tour early in the morning when the sun was just beginning to rise. The tour operator picked us up from our hotel in Krabi and took us to the pier, where we boarded our boat and set off towards Phi Phi Islands. The clear blue waters were like glass, and the cliffs were a vibrant green. It was a picture-perfect moment, and I couldn’t resist taking photos.
Once we arrived at Phi Phi Island, we spent some time exploring the island’s many beaches. We also visited the famous Maya Bay, which was made renowned by the Leonardo DiCaprio movie “The Beach”. Although the beach was crowded with tourists, it was still breathtakingly beautiful. We spent a few hours there, swimming in the crystal-clear waters and relaxing on the soft sandy beach.
Viking Cave
We stopped at Pileh Lagoon, which is a hidden lagoon surrounded by towering cliffs. We were able to take a dip in the emerald water and chill on the boat while enjoying the stunning views. The boat ride itself was also a highlight of the trip, as we saw several rock formations and limestone cliffs that were unique and breathtaking.
Monkey Beach
Our next stop was Monkey Beach, where we saw monkeys playing on the beach. It was a fun and unique experience, but we were reminded to respect the monkeys’ space and not feed them. Our tour guide educated us on how important it is not to disturb the wildlife in the area and to respect their environment.
Krabi
Krabi is a stunning place that is bustling with tourists from all over the world. Although it may be busier than other destinations, Krabi has a unique charm that sets it apart from other places in Thailand. Despite the crowds, we enjoyed our time in Krabi and found it to be an interesting place to explore.
Visiting Krabi and Phi Phi Islands was an experience I’ll never forget. The unspoiled beauty of Phi Phi Islands and the bustling town of Krabi made for a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation.
